This spring, Turkish American students and parents worked together to showcase Turkish culture through vibrant displays and programs at International Nights in Willow Springs Elementary School, Louis Acer Elementary School, and Hillside Elementary School. The Turkish tables featured a variety of visual displays and culinary treats, including Turkish coffee. Many attendees gathered to enjoy the offerings and learn about Turkish traditions. The successful projects were accomplished by the dedicated mothers who took the lead and put in long hours, aided by many volunteers and some businesses.

Connecting with Americans of all ages empowers the Turkish American community to share culture and build social and political ties in our adopted country.
