Who we are
Women’s VIP Club (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website at https://womenvipclub.com and the Women’s VIP Club mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect and how we use and share it across the Service. The current operator of the Service and its contact address are named in the “Contact and developer information” section of our Terms of Use. “We” also means any successor that takes over the Service, as described under “Business transfers” below.
Information We Collect and How We Use It
Account & profile — name (first, last, display), email, password or passkey, date of birth, city, state; and if you list a business: business name, category, email, phone number, address, and website. We use this to create and secure your account, run your membership, and personalize your experience.
Signing in — if you sign in with a one-time code, we email the code to the address you enter. If you choose “Sign in with Apple” or “Sign in with Google,” we receive an identifier for your Apple or Google account, your email address (for Apple, possibly a private relay address if you choose “Hide My Email”), your name if the provider shares it, and, for Google, your profile picture if you choose to use it. For Apple we also keep a token that lets us revoke the connection when you delete your account.
Content you create — profile photos and business logos; posts in Moments and News (photos, videos, and captions), comments and replies, and likes; member-chat messages; job listings you post on the Jobs board; and reports you make and members you block. We use these to display your profile, power the member directory, marketplace, feeds, and Jobs board, deliver your conversations, and keep the community safe.
Membership & transactions — membership status (e.g., VIP), event RSVPs, and ticket purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not collect or store your full payment-card details.
Referrals — any referral code you use or share, to attribute referral rewards.
Device permissions — Camera: used only to scan QR codes at event check-in; frames are processed on your device and not stored (only the scanned ticket identifier is sent to us). Calendar: choosing “Add to Calendar” writes the event to your device’s calendar via your operating system and stays on your device. Photos: only the photos and videos you pick to upload are sent to us.
Technical & diagnostic data — a push token and device identifier (via OneSignal) to deliver notifications; crash and error reports including device model, operating system, app version, and diagnostic logs (via Sentry) to fix problems; and device and network signals during sign-in and registration (via Cloudflare Turnstile) to prevent bots and fraud. None of this is used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Google User Data
Women’s VIP Club offers “Sign in with Google” as an optional way to sign in. If you choose to use it, we access your Google account’s email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture) via Google OAuth (scopes: openid, email, profile), with your consent, solely to create and sign you into your Women’s VIP Club account. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and access no other Google services or data. We share it only as described in “How We Share Your Data” below; if it would transfer as part of a business transfer, we will first get your consent where Google’s policies require it. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Cookies
If you visit our login page we set a temporary cookie to check that your browser accepts cookies; it contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in we set cookies to save your login and display choices (login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me”; display cookies last a year). Logging out removes the login cookies.
How We Share Your Data
Other members and the public. Your profile, posts, comments, and likes are visible to other members, as the Service’s features show them. Chat messages are visible to the people in the conversation. Business listings in the marketplace and job listings on the Jobs board are public: anyone visiting the website can see them. Members can also share posts with people outside the Service using the app’s share features.
Service providers. We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf and only for that purpose: our hosting/WordPress platform, our member-chat provider (Better Messages), Stripe (payments), OneSignal (push delivery), Sentry (crash diagnostics), Cloudflare Images and Stream (storing and delivering photos and videos), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection — https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/), and Apple and Google when you use their sign-in. If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or a sale or transfer of all or part of our business or assets, your information may be transferred to the buyer or successor as part of that transaction. The successor will continue to use your information as described in this policy unless it changes the policy as described under “Changes to This Policy” below, and we will tell you about the transfer.
Legal requirements and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it (for example, a court order or subpoena), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our members, the public, or us, including to investigate fraud or abuse.
With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you ask us to or agree to it.
We do not sell your personal information, use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs, or collect device geolocation.
How Long We Retain Your Data
We store the information in your profile until you delete it or close your account. You can see, edit, or delete your profile information at any time in the app or on the site (you cannot change your username). Administrators can also see and edit that information. Posts in Moments expire after a set time and are then no longer shown. We may keep some information after your account is closed where we must for legal, security, or administrative reasons.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, and request that we erase it (except data we must keep for legal, security, or administrative reasons). You can edit your profile in the app, disable notifications in your device settings, and delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the app.
Children
The Service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to become a member, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Media
If you upload images, avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as visitors can download and extract that data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, including if the Service changes hands. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If we make a material change to how we use or share your personal information, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
